A military cannot build real strength through fear. When commanders are forced to watch politics more than the battlefield, trust begins to collapse from within. The PLA may display power through parades, missiles, and uniforms, but purges create silence, hesitation, and insecurity inside the ranks. Real combat power comes from confidence, trust, and honest leadership—not fear-driven loyalty. A purge does not make an army stronger; it makes every commander look over his shoulder before looking at the battlefield.
